Ignoring most of your message, I appreciate that you James' claim to fame
among many of those who couldn't be bothered with history or political
economy. I saw of Beyond a Boundary in mine and the households of my
Indo-Trinidadian relatives long before I ever touched a copy of The Black
Jacobins. His writings on race, class and the "negro" question in America
were also very advanced for their time and are often overlooked as well.
