Re: [Marxism] Robert Fitch: only Marxism can explain the financialcrisis

CB: S.Artesian sits on his one fart donkey, rate of profit ( or is it the
OCC ?) doing those Motown dances he's so good at. Rate of acc. of profit ! honk

! Rate of acc. of profit honk !

And what are workers gonna do about that rate of acc. of profit but watch it
like the stars in the sky.

Hey, sisters and brothers lets fight for a bigger piece of the pie. That'll
put an end to this business cycle.

And what about this two step ? Overproduction , underprofitization
Overproduction, underprofitization

"Hey, sisters and brothers lets fight for a bigger piece of the pie. That'll
put an end to this business cycle."

This is simply untrue.

Increased consumption under capitalism inevitably leads to the
revolutionizing of the means of production, as each capital competes to realize
more
profits from this increased consumption. This tendency sets the stage of the
next
and deeper crisis.

The only way to end the business cycle is to change that, which is
fundamental to and creates the business cycle in the first place. The property
relations.

What the extremely important fighting for a "bigger slice of the bourgeois
pie," does and has done, is driven the capitalist system through its various
quantitative boundaries, as the inescapable spontaneous movement of the
working class; as it has defined our concrete task as communists.

The workers cannot NOT, fight for an expanded share of the social products
and more greater political liberty because NOT to fight back means to be
reduced below the level of existence below that of chattel slaves. The slave
master had to ensure the feeding of his slaves as the preservation of capital.
This is not true in the case of the modern working class. A billion dead
workers
today means less non-producing consumers and heightens the danger of world
war to an unbearable degree.

Revolution is not a conspiracy. What brings the workers to revolution is the
logic of capitalism, not communist agitation. No one has to tell people
already fighting to fight.

This is why the spontaneous movement of the working class is spontaneous in
the first place; NOT TO BE REDUCED TO PAUPERS AND SLAVES! The logic of
capital compels the workers to fight and resist in all kinds of ways. As a
general
rule the communists emerge as leaders in this fight due to our organization
as a compact group; ideological commitment to the cause of the workers and
years of learning "how to fight back."

This does not means we forsake our responsibility as communists, which ties
us to educating the workers concerning the nature and dimensions of the system
of wage slavery.
