It ought to be possible to draw a line between the
defense of a woman's right to make whatever
reproductive decisions that she deems fit,
and our own passing of judgments concerning
whether some particular woman's decisions
strike us as being wise or foolish.  I, myself,
am inclined to think that this particular woman's
decisions are foolish, but unless she can be
shown to be manifestly mentally incompetent
and/or that she is abusive or neglectful
towards her children,
it's not for others to interfere with her decisions.
People do all sorts of foolish things in
their personal lives, but most of thus would
not want public authorities stepping in to
coerce us into making those decisions that
"right thinking" people think we ought to
make.

Many commentators, including one person
here, has made much out of her being
the recipient of public aid, as if that
should give public authorities the right
to interfere with her reproductive decisions.
A few moments of reflection should lead one
to see the dangers of following that path,
since that would give the state the power
to interfere with the most personal and
intimate decisions that people make
concerning their lives.

Attacking this woman's "irresponsibility" is a diversion, a waste of time, 
and itself irresponsible.
