Re: [Marxism] Debunking Third World myths
Re-reading what I just posted, it struck me that it might be easier for some
people to understand the graphing trick that's been pulled by comparing the
two kinds of graphs, one using a linear income scale, the other a
logarithmic scale. So I've done screen captures of both so people can see
the difference, which is that looking at the data normally, with a linear
scale, we see a ton of countries bunched up on the left, at the low income
end, whereas this is disguised by using a logarithmic scale, which
"exaggerates" differences at the low end and "compresses" differences at the
high end.
So I've done screen captures of the two kinds of graphs and will send them
to anyone who asks by writing me off list to jbustelo@xxxxxxxxxx The total
size of the two jpg images is about 500K.
