Actually the best thing to do is to paste text into an empty text file in a 
simple text program; on a Mac, I use Tex-Edit. Then you can "stupefy" quotes 
and remove unnecessary line breaks with a simple menu command, then copy from 
there and paste into an email headed for Marxmail. I don't always do that; when 
I don't, I regret it when I see how what I've done shows up on Marxmail.
