Re: [Marxism] PSL: The truth behind China's Charter 08 manifesto
Bhaskar: "I normally don't go for PSL's writing, which is normally a caricature
of itself"
I'm curious what you mean by that. Is it because they, like many on the left,
try to relate every issue, be it the foreclosure crisis, the war in Iraq, the
destruction of the environment, the latest victim of racist cops, or anything
else, with the need for socialism? Or something else?
Because personally, I find the writing on pslweb.org (and the corresponding
print publication, "Liberation") to be of consistently high quality, as
exemplified by the two articles I posted today. And, unlike the articles found
in many other left publications which are often written by the same people year
after year, written by an ever-increasing stable of authors (with, of course,
continuity as well), a development I find rather encouraging.
