As an aside, the cyclones which have flooded 60% of north Queensland (bigger
than Texas!) simultaneously with the fires in Victoria have broken the 16 year
drought in the area where I live. It was 35 degrees Celsius yesterday, but only
30 degrees today. It was the humidity that convinced me to leave work early.
Obviously, I live in the Goldilocks zone: floods to the north, fires to the
south, and just right where I am.
