Those not blinded by sectarianism can see that the recent actions and
statements of the Venezuelan government especially in relation to Israel's
war on Gaza have had a big impact and further entrenched Chavez's standing
as a hero among those who oppose Israel's war.

Whether or not his government has done enough is a separate question and
doesn't change that fact.

The impact has been positive.
