This is a fascinating article, but I hope readers recognize that it is a
DEFENSE of Capitalism, not an indictment. The import of the whole
article is that all would be well if only the government controlled
unscrupulous financial manipulations. It quite logically ends, not with
a call to reexamine the dynamic of the capitalist system but with a
demand that subpoemas be sent out to catch the rascals who did the
dastardly deed.
