[Marxism] Moratorium please
About half the posts seem to be about Walter Lippmann's "departure" from
the list. This seems to me to be excessive navel-gazing on a scale that
rivals the behavious of some of the "Zinovievist" organisations Louis so
despises. Can I ask comrades to stop this and get back to the substantiv
e business - analysing the outside world. Even the pre-ocupation of so
many list members with the American electoral process and the
Denmocratic party was fascinating stuff in comparison.
So PLEASE STOP and let Walter reapply for list membership in his own
good time - only if Walter were refused readmission would this volume of
debate be halfway justified - and, to be honest, such an eventuality
would call the rationale for the existence of the list as an open forum
for Marxists seriously into question.
