GOOGLE is God.

They look at EVERYTHING in your emails and use the mined data to serve you
ads and for "market research" purposes.

So, yes, they look at the "from" header, and it won't even help if you used
a different SMTP server. I've tried.

is this really true? it would help me diagnosing subscriber problems if they
sub via gmail. but i don't see how it can be, because the sender is the
marxmail list server, not the originator of the post.

unless google looks at the From: header ....

grrrrrr.....
