Re: [Marxism] Free and Equal Elections for 2010
Bravo. THESE are the kinds of things I think we should be discussing. What I
wonder is whether or not these kinds of 'non-partisan' efforts should be
favored over party-building, as I have recently renewed my interest in the
Green Party (state parties, mind you, and specifically IL where I live)
after favoring the Nader/Gonzalez campaign. I really think that any national
campaigns may be a waste of time at this point - if we could concentrate our
efforts on states where we (not just Marxmailers) have some strength in
numbers and laws already favor independent politics or ballot initiatives
then progress could be made more quickly on a smaller scale, providing a
positive example for other states. Thoughts?
