2 things.

To repeat myself, just about everything that Walter ever posted here can
be read on the Greenleft and Cubanews mailing lists:

1. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GreenLeft_discussion/messages

2. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cubanews/

So this is not a case of gagging somebody.

The other thing is that posting some item pointing out that Obama has
done something positive is not grounds for being unsubbed. Walter was
unsubbed because it was clear to me that he was adopting the same kind
of bullheaded interventionism he used to use to back the ANC, Lula and
Sinn Fein on behalf of Obama. Even the tone was the same: Obamaphobes,
etc. It was the same kind of language he used in the past:
perfectionists, etc.

As has already been pointed out, being unsubbed from Marxmail is not a
permanent condition. Just about everybody returns who has a serious
commitment to our agenda. If, however, you want to use the list as a way
to stir up controversies that go on ad infinitum, there are other places
more suited to that, like alt.politics.socialism.trotsky. Contact me
privately if you want information about other forums where food-fights
are encouraged.
