[Marxism] Petition to the Moderator

Dear Moderator,

This list serve has the participation of many who DO NOT SHARE the
same views and come to this forum precisely to examine what others,
who while akin as Marxists, we do not share their neurotic
punctuations and pronouncements.   Walter  sometimes fell into this
later category, but from time to time, he did make important
contributions however and I came to recognize this.  (I had a hell of
row with him, as you will recall, but it was always respectful
although  marked with the usual repartee which characterizes this
list-serve.)

Your decision to suspend Walter does not solve the usual problem which
characterizes the exchanges here and which occur at three levels of
communication, if I dare suggest this:

a)      there are those well thought out critical and radical contributions
and exchanges
b)      then contributions by those who proffer their opinions, which they
seem to hold  in their own  high  regard and esteem, and who seem
hell bent on wanting to castigate others with such outlandish views
c)      and then there is the useless banter and exchanges not worthy of
even a chat line
each of the above merits a corresponding action by us the readers.

For category (a) there is a reply or file for future reference
For category (b) there is a smile and wait and see what is said next,
only because they are so preposterous
For category (c) which is getting to be the tendency lately,
particularly on the business of
Obamomics-mania-disolucion-or-disfunctional-idolatry ; here, the only
logical action is the use of the DELETE button,  nothing further needs
to be done, certainly nothing which would cause fell@w  participants
to rush for their peptobismol (the @ being the current symbol  I use
to denote both genders)

Here is the point however, nobody has strictly kept within category
(a), if I may suggest, not even our esteemed moderator.

I urge you to reconsider your decision on Walter, who I have not met,
and with who I do not share many positions, but whose contributions,
here and there forced me to reflect further,  which I think is the
best benefit of this list serve.

I am copying Walter on this message so that all parties are aware of
my comments.
