Surely that "former foes" refers to Russia, whom Obama expects to help him with
ratcheting up the pressure on Iran. I seriously doubt it refers to Iran, not
least because Obama would hardly refer to Iran as a "former foe" when he has
called them the biggest threat facing the U.S.
