Nope.  One is window dressing, cosmetics, presentation, posing... and will 
be quietly reversed sometime in the next few months.  The other, 
particularly in Turkey which has had a history of friendly with relations 
with Israel , is mass direct action, and will remain indelibly etched into 
the consciousness of Israeli athletes.

Imagine if a US  basketball team, on tour internationally, was chased off 
the court after the invasion of Iraq-- if every US sponsored cultural 
exchange  was shutdown by direction action by an audience of protestors...

As for locating dialectics-- sorry comrade, somebody who can't see the 
dialectic in the hated foreign policy of the incoming US administration, and 
its "social democratic" domestic policies,  isn't exactly a GPS system in 
these matters.
