[Marxism] Sam Farber and other, better, things...

I haven't read Farber's piece (probably won't). But the Hansen piece
cited by Walter always appeared to me as a severe contortion to the
point of mutation of Castro's position on the events in Prague in 1968.
Anyone can see that Castro, and I presume the Cuban Communist Party in
their majority, was highly peeved about what went down. No one can
seriously disagree with Castro's implicit charge of hypocrisy on the
part of the Warsaw Pact. I think Hansen, while providing an interesting
parsing of Castro's view on this, fails to get down to the brass tacts:
Fidel defended the invasion. He certainly criticized the USSR/Warsaw
pact, but at the end of the day, Castro was on the wrong side. Hansen
seems to avoid this conclusion and does his readers a disservice.
