Talk aside, does anybody really think that Obama is going to launch a
frontal assault on Social Security?   It seems clear that his game is
to keep everything together by not burning bridges anywhere...and then
burning the smallest bridges.  The Social Security question is enough
to get hundreds of thousands of walkers converging on Washington.  The
very prospect of this was enough to scare off Reagan, the Bushes and
Clinton.  Obama and his advisers understand that this issue is
radioactive.

If they do, of course, they'll get a big reminder....
