Good on you Stuart. It seems simple to me.  One asks what would the Israelis
like us to do?  Act as cheer leaders would probably be their first
preference.  Already American politicians have performed that shameful
task.  Their second preference is for the rest of the world to keep silent
and do nothing.


For the Israelis are above all realists.  As they go about their dirty
business in Gaza they have no doubts at all about the necessity of the
killings.  The Zionist project cannot be accomplished without mass murder.
They have always known that.  However with the exception of politicians like
Avigdor Liebermann who has called for the use of nuclear bombs in Gaza, the
Israelis know that they cannot say out loud what is in their hearts.

So they talk ceaselessly of the "peace process".  But even that is losing
some traction and purchase as Chaves and Morales have shown.

The actions of Venezuela and Bolivia have hurt the Israelis.  More
importantly perhaps they have hurt as well the Arab quislings, and it is
these same traitors - Mubarak, and the Abdullahs who gave the green light
for the attack on Gaza and who hoped to gain from the destruction of Hamas.
