Because the archives are created using procmail, a unix-based software
that allows you to do various things with incoming mail--like sending
out automatic responses that you are on vacation, etc. Here is my recipe
for the archives, for what its worth to the techies out there:

|/usr/local/bin/mhonarc -nospammode -umask 022 -title "Latest 100
messages from Marxism list" -maxsize 100 -sort -reverse -rcfile
/net/u/15/l/lnp3/.procmail/main.rc -add -outdir
/net/u/15/l/lnp3/public_html/
