Louis is factually wrong about the fact that the reason Israel is using
white phosphorus is because the next administration is sure to back this 100
percent. The whole operation was launched when it was partly because of
uncertainty -- justified or not -- that they would be sure of the same level
of endorsement from the next pro-Israel (on all the basics) administration
as opposed to the present one, which represents quantities not fully
measured in practice from the standpoint of the summit of power. I know this
is narrow empiricism on the part of the Israeli rulers, and perhaps Louis
can straighten them out on their methodological and theoretical errors in
being other than absolutely certain.

This is typical of Louis's clear assumption that the complete,
authoritative, and even "magisterial," as the literary reviews like to say,
history of the Obama administration has already appeared in complete and
final form in his previous posts. I am not as certain as he is about each
and every detail, although I have seen no reason to doubt that the defense
of US imperialism will be consistent and universal.

But I have to admit that even if Obama's appointments had been a bit more to
Louis' taste in imperialist administrators, that would still have been my
estimate.
