[Marxism] Let Gaza Live Demonstration in Washington yesterday (photos)

I attended a large and spirited demonstration against the Israeli attack on 
Gaza in Washington DC today. It was called on short notice and despite low 
temperatures and a steady drizzle of rain, the demonstration was an unqualified 
success. When the rain started at around the same time we started to march, I 
assumed that we would lose a lot of people but i was wrong. Palestinians, many 
with families with young children, continued to march in spite of the weather. 
People came from as far away as Florida and Michigan. The militancy was 
inspiring. 

At the rally, speakers included Ralph Nader and Cynthia McKinney. I could not 
hear much of it since it was difficult to get close. It was called by 
A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition and a number of other organizations.
