I have just come back from another vigil in Brisbane.  This also consisted
of a united faith prayer service - consisting of Christians, Muslims, and
Buddhists. Sadly there was no one there from the Jewish faith.  However
there was a much larger turn out from the organised Left.  We had speeches
and I spoke again.  I had previously spent the afternoon working with young
Arab Australians to prepare leaflets for tomorrow's demo.

It was refreshing talking to young people who are not politically naive as
most Australians are.  Tomorrow's rally has been advertised in the mosques
and I hope it will be close to 2000 strong.

There is a heart breaking gap between what we can do and what is needed.
But we must do what we can.  BTW I have been greatly heartened by the clips
Eli has put up.  It is vital to remember that no matter how small the effort
we are able to make, the Israeli butchers wish for our total silence.
