[Marxism] Out, Out Damned Spot
Speaking of blood and hands and Afghanistan and Obama-- the die is more than
cast, as is the dye.
>From today's NYT:
WASHINGTON - The United States and NATO are planning to open and expand
supply lines through Central Asia to deliver fuel, food and other goods to a
military mission in Afghanistan that is expected to grow by tens of
thousands of troops in the months ahead, according to U.S. and alliance
diplomats and military officials...
The demands made on supply routes are expected to increase greatly as heavy
materials are moved to Afghanistan to build the structures needed for an
expanded U.S. presence.
But the new supply arrangements could leave the United States more reliant
on cooperation from authoritarian countries like Uzbekistan and Tajikistan

This is the wider war the US seeks; that capitalism must have.
