On what income? Committed personnel? 

Since the refoundation of the SP (SP USA), it has been committed to independent 
political action. As far as personnel, we only have one paid staff. The rest of 
us are grassroots organizers w/o pay, but fire in the belly.

Well, the CPUSA and the SP have been banking on such income since the 
1930s. They have also committed personnel to making it happen. If it 
hasn't happened by now, it is time to reevaluate the policy. Of 
course, leftist politics tends to take on dogmatic characteristics 
that prevent self-correction from taking place.
