Harrington's analysis of the American political system implies that it
can be worked from below.  And through his active adult life, that
system was wrenched increasingly to the right, away from even the
faint "socialism-lite" of the New Deal.  So when Dr. House had the
wrong diagnosis, gives his patient the wrong treatment, and the
patient dies...Harrington's analysis is right in that sense????.
