Then let's start from that point. You elaborations of your position
below are very welcome, and on many points we agree.

My goal when I responded to you and LP was to break open what I saw as
an opaque, "DEAD" pronouncement, and get into the details of what was
meant by that. I wasn't trying to score debate points, but to counter
what I still think is an lopsided analysis of the 2004/2008 nomination
processes. John Walsh's piece is an example of what I was looking for,
tho I disagree with his conclusion. My apologies if my approach was
overly vulgar and punchy, and apparently clumsy.

You mentioned the November 5th movement, as did John. I signed up, but
I don't see any effort being made to build a replacement national
political party. Nader also has said he does not intend to do so.
John's suggestion is that the GPUS state parties break off from the
GPUS, but doesn't say what happens next.
