Re: [Marxism] Hamas is hoping for an IDF ground operation

And terrain would help an invasion across the longest border. It may
well become a downhill cavalcade of rumbling and death-spitting tanks,
in the most classic fashion set by the Wehrmacht in Eastern Europe. Only
that this time the target would be a ghetto.

I know the place, lived many months near Sderot. Eventual swollen wadis
would even be of help (it is rain season there now, isn´t it). It has
just come to my mind: won´t the Israelis use Gaza as a Grenada surrogate
for another failed invasion (Cuba)? But perhaps muddy soil in Gaza Strip
proper would make the Israeli commanders think it twice.

There´s also a L`Humanité analysis that may be useful. Will try to send
it to the list ASAP. They touch on topics we have not been commenting
here in Marxmail.
