No. Economism first showed itself dramatically (and was named) in
something like this (adding a kopek to a ruble, etc.) But that passing
error was grounded in a much larger misconception of capitalism and of
class. Economism is the assumption that the struggle for socialism can
be grounded in the struggle for the overall improvement of the material
conditions of workers, or for abstract equality rather than for freedom
-- for an end to alienated labor and the abolition of the working class
(since capitalism is synonymous with the existence of the working class
as a working class).
