I would like to hear your thoughts on the piece and whether you think that I
am too optimistic about the ability of a left-of-USSR regime to have
survived in Western Europe.  I would like to think that with Franco's death
in Spain and the upsurge in Greece this was the last time ripe for worker
revolution in Europe.
