This debate is ridiculous. Gary is probably right -- but so what! Just
because he is probably right, so what!

Is it going to make any difference (in the name of all that's
revolutionary) whehter he delivers this that or the other thing or not.
And how does Gary's or Walter's opinion now have any relationship to any
possible effects of Obama's not delivering a couple years from now?

What practical issue or  what (needed) theoretical principle is at issue
here in this squabble in atea-cup?
