It's worth noting that, even if bin Laden is alive, a rather questionable 
assumption, it's likely that he has little or nothing to do with the ongoing 
resistance to the American occupation of Afghanistan, and his death, if 
effected or proved, would have as little effect on the war as did the murder of 
Saddam's sons or the arrest and subsequent murder of Saddam Hussein on the 
resistance in Iraq.
