I assume the military industrial complex (MIC) is part of the "dominant"
capitalists. I thought General Motors was part of the MIC - no? Or maybe they
have separate divisions - one for consumer products and another part of the MIC?

pance.

CB: The general Leninist idea is that the imperialist stage of capitalism is
"finance capitalism", which is the merger of finance and industrial capital,
with the finance aspect dominant. That generalization seems somewhat confirmed
as still valid given the difference between what the finance capitalists just
got out of the state power and what the industrial capitalists just got out of
the state power: a trillion dollar gift vs. a 25 billion dollar loan.
