Is David concerned that the alleged communism of Obama's grandfather's
friend three decades ago might have influenced Obama's politics today?
I
certainly see no basis for those concerns.

When I read it, what I liked about it was his grandfather met this guy
Frank in a Speakeasy. So, his White grandfather was cool enough with
some brothers that he hung out in a Speakeasy...and grand dad had sense
of enough to let Barack meet some adult Black men, working class Black
men "on the corner". Influence you can believe in.
