[Marxism] getting placed on moderation for format errors
Occasionally i put someone on moderation when their post's formatting
does not conform to list rules. Let me explain what this means so there
is no confusion.
Not everyone reads my posts to the list. This makes it difficult to get
formatting rules across to subscribers. So i decided its easier if i
place poor-format posters on moderation. this way i get their attention
and resolve the issue quickly. and for old-timers here, usually a day on
moderation is enough to hammer home the points they probably already
know but forget.
typical formatting errors:
1. failure to clip extraneous text from your replies to marxmail posts.
the rule is displayed prominently at the bottom of each message you
receive from the list.
2. bad staircase effects
3. non-readable characters sprinkled throughout post.
