This sounds like apologetics for a politician doing what it takes to get 
elected as chief executive of an imperialist country. Even if Obama were white, 
he would still "have to" advocate policies that are consistent with the needs 
and desires of the bulk of the ruling class, and with the nationalist, 
patriotic sentiments of the bulk of the population.

In other words, any politician who has any chance of becoming the POTUS must be 
an imperialist POS whom no decent human being, not to speak of 
anti-imperialist, should support in any way.
