Re: [Marxism] Campaign for a NO on bailout?
Ruthless writes: "The existing loans? Write them off and begin from scratch.
"This would be a good 'transitional' demand."
Once again Ruthless proves to be a reformist ruling class running dog.
It may seem that he is really anticapitalist by raising a "transitional"
demand that will lead to the immediate collapse of the world banking and
financial system, and with it the capitalist economic order. Not so.
Commodity production will spontaneously revive under such circumstances, and
in due time revived commodity production will lead to renewed capitalism,
especially once population densities begin to recover. It may have taken
tens of thousands of years for humanity to climb out of barbarism to modern
civilization, but Ruthless's reformism will lead to a recovery in, at most,
a few short centuries.
The truly revolutionary demand is for an immediate outlawing of commodity
production.
