[Marxism] Cuba policy as a U.S. domestic political issue

Walter, I think what you described is exactly a "foreign policy issue".
It's about how the US and entities in the US (business, charities, etc)
relate to another country. That's "foreign policy" even if there are
some domestic stake holders in the issue. Our relations right now with
Bolivia are no different. It's reported as "international news" by all
media everywhere. So is Cuba. It might play a role here in the US, but
it's way subordinate to most other foreign and domestic issues. Of
course we don't want to make iron-wall distinctions between
international and domestic issues. I don't.

AS an "issue", Cuba ranks way down in the bourgeois body politic of the
U.S. I've yet to hear anyone comment on it in the major media. Domestic
or foreign, it isn't a major electoral issue now.

David
