Boxer brags about sponsoring S.721, the Freedom to Travel to Cuba act. I'd
certainly be glad to see this bill passed. However, I must point out, as you
can
read here:

that this bill was introduced on March 1, 2007 (by a Republican, by the way,
Sen. Enzi), and has yet to even have a committee hearing, despite the fact that
Democrats have been in control of both houses of Congress for the entire time
between then and now.
I should also point out that there are 24 sponsors (plus the sponsor totals 1/4
of the Senate). Senator Barack Obama...is not among them.
