[Marxism] Tariq Ali the "pragmatist"

The first principle for the Marxists is independent of the working class
from all bourgeois forces. This means in this presidential elections in the
US:  It is unfortunate that there is no party or candidate that represent
the working class and the oppressed in the US, however in light of this fact
there is no one to vote for. All kind of pragmatists i.e. reformists and
opportunists   have forgotten all about the goal-working class socialist
revolution and have the same old position of  Edward Bernstein : "The goal
is nothing, the movement is everything".

Those  on the left who call to vote for an imperialist candidate are simply
 pro imperialists and in the case of  those who call to vote for Obama  as
the less evil are in support of Zionism  the occupation of Iraq and
sanctions against Iran.
The rest of it are no more than empty words. They many not recognize the
laws of history but this does not mean history does not recognize their
types. They existed in the 1920's and the 1930'  in the shape of the 2!/2
International and London Bureau and by now almost no one can remember them
.They were  the  heirs of the French Possibilities of the  late 19th. Who
participated in Waldeck-Russou government.
