Joaquin's point is taken, but it's worth remembering that most
institutional censorship is not done through formal challenges,
committees, discussions, weighing options.  As in the ol' education
biz, it's mostly done through informal use of everything from
"rhetorical" bullying to using a blackjack on the personnel file.

Plausible deniability was most evident at the base of the government
hierarchy way before it backed up to the top.

I'm looking to hear from the librarian and others involved.
