Agreed, but Bookchin betrayed this intellectual break in his own life
by playing up various illnesses in order to gain sympathy from his
acolytes. I guess he needed the attention. That said, I've never read
a marxist critique of "The Ecology of Freedom", which in my mind is a
heady and exciting work.
