[Marxism] Apartheid States, Large and Small
Nestor quotes:

> citizens from marrying the spouses of their choice.
> It bars Israelis from marrying Palestinians from

No question, a rotten affront to human dignity.
Last year, a change was made in the German immigration
laws to prevent foreign spouses of German citizens
from entering the country.
Previously, it was a fundamental right of
"familienzusammenführung" (family reunion) that
allowed foreign spouses to obtain a residence
permanent, to be granted anew every three years in
perpetuity (or with sufficient proof of financial
well-being, a permanent residence permit to be granted
after five years of residency and at least three years
of marriage), for the purpose of joining family
members in Germany.
Now, an applicant for entry can be refused entry if
they are not able to prove sufficient German-language
skills, or if the German partner in the marriage can
"reasonably" make a living in the country of origin of
the foreign partner. Thus, those seeking entry who
hail from rural areas where there is no Geothe
Institut or comparable institution granting German
language courses are out of luck, and cannot join
their German spouses.
This Apartheid state happens to be the third largest
economy in the world, the largest economy in the
European Union, the fifth largest weapons exporter in
the world, and arguably the driving force of European
unification.
Every single nation-state on earth is an apartheid
state. Open borders is a minimal demand for
communists, and is not a negotiable position.
