Re: [Marxism] Che Guevara - Myth and reality
Looking at all the comments about Che, Cuba, socialist or nationalist, it
seems to me that the evolution of the Cuban Revolution to its present situation
- a non-capitalist state situated in an imperialist sea but unable to build
socialism absent a socialist revolution in Latin America (at least) hence
naturally prone to beaurocratic deformation (as in Russia from 1921 on) - all
of
this was analyzed in embryo and discussed in passing in C. Wright Mills 1960
pre Bay of Pigs classic, "Listen Yankee." It bears reading today.
