Artesian has built himself a tremendous edifice of arguments against a
straw person, whom he calls Joaquin, not, I think, out of bad faith
but because he doesn't understand the argument being presented, which
is not about the Colombian "state" but the Colombian NATION.

Artesian thinks he is addressing "the implicit assumptions behind JB's
assertions." This includes things like attributing to me the view that
resistance provokes repression.

I've been on this list for nearly a decade, and written extensively
and consistenly about these issues. If Sartesian is interested in
really deepening the discussion, he will repair to those my posts over
the years rather than what he imagines are my "implicit assumptions."
