An email I just received from the San Francisco branch of the PSL, relating to 
this same discussion:

Help Cindy Sheehan get on the ballot!

YOUR HELP IS URGENTLY NEEDED NOW to help courageous anti-war activist Cindy 
Sheehan get on the ballot in CA 8th Congressional District (San Francisco).

IT'S CRUNCH TIME! There is just one month left before Cindy must submit more 
than 10,000 signatures of registered voters to qualify for ballot status and be 
able to run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The PSL is joining with organizations to mobilize as many volunteers as 
possible 
in San Francisco the next two weekends:

Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13,
and Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20.

Meet at 11 a.m. at the Cindy Sheehan for Congress Campaign office, 1260 Mission 
St. between 8th and 9th Sts., near Civic Center BART in San Francisco.

Volunteers are invited to come back to the office for pizza and drinks after 
the 
petitioning.

If you want to help petition, but can't make it at those times, call the 
Campaign office at 415-621-5027.
