Re: [Marxism] Rescuing Lenin from Leninists

Well, if you're determined to be obtuse, I can't really help you.

My view of socialism isn't based on which organization you're in. I
welcome other organizations participation in the elections (hence my
cooperating with another socialist group running a candidate). You're
the one who seems to have a problem with more than one organization
running candidates. The organizational narrowness is yours, not mine.
I wonder why you find nothing wrong with multiple bourgeois parties
running candidates in every election. Or is it, rather, you're simply
trying to throw mud and see what sticks.

No, my view of socialism is based on accepting the class rule of the
proletariat and the overturning of private property. Even with the
hard-on they have for her, Solidarity wouldn't claim McKinney is some
kind of crypto-socialist. McKinney's own visceral reaction to the word
"socialist" says everything. She supports private property and she
does not believe in the rule of the working class. At best, like most
liberals, she believes in some ameliorative remedies to keep the worst
effects of capitalism at bay. Her "socialism" wouldn't even be as
"socialist" as Scandinavian capitalism. Some socialists support her,
but she doesn't support socialism.

Also, do you think you could have the common decency to act like an
adult and spell my name correctly?
