I don't know his politics, but Ariel Rubinstein's 2006
"Freak-Freakonomics" (Economists' Voice. 3(9) November. Available at
http://www.bepress.com/ev/vol3/iss9/art7/ as of September 22, 2007) is
pretty good. If you can't access it, maybe I can help.
