Marvin's boundless confidence in the intelligent bourgeoisie, in their 
understanding that profits and prosperity require peace, that high oil 
prices aren't good for the economy and that they, the bourgeoisie, are 
concerned first and foremost with what's good for the economy will 
unquestionably be rewarded by, first, a shipment of vintage "We Seek No 
Wider War" buttons from the 1964 LBJ campaign, and secondly, by his 
appointment as Secretary of Defense.
