[Marxism] Obama Gates

 Gates opposed the invasion of Iraq and will know how to move the pieces 
around as Obama withdraws combat troops from Iraq. The question is
 whether Gates will be loyal to, and not sabotage, civilian authority, 
and be able to command military loyalty. Still I think Chuck Hagel
 is set to be Secty of Defense. The point is that Obama needs someone 
like Gates or Hagel as cover to withdraw from Iraq which the right 
will try to shout down as acceptance of defeat. The right will of course
not be entirely wrong, so Obama will indeed need cover. Who else but Gates
or Hagel could provide it?
